About Molly O Designs
Molly O Designs began in 2002 as a ready to wear line that included jewelry, hair accessories, boutique gifts and children's clothing. And while we were successful, it always felt like there was something missing. A niche that needed to be filled. And then it came to me.
As a young sassy mom of 3 small children, I'm always looking for ways for my children, myself and my home to look chic. But the catch is, I like to do it on a budget. I know that many moms feel the same way, but don't know where to start. And so the new Molly O Designs was created.
Our goal is to provide women with a fun and social way to create the hottest boutique fashion trends in the comfort of their home, with their friends, while staying on budget. Molly O Designs ultimately provides kits and classes that allow us to share our philosophy of Sassy Made Simple.
At the same time, we want to empower women to be creative and feel fabulous about what they have created for themselves, their family and friends. Ultimately, we want them to be proud to say, "this was Creatively Made by Me!"
I can't tell you how amazing it is to begin work every day knowing that we are providing a generation of women with new tools to be fabulous. And my hope is that you will feel the same way after leaving a Molly O party.
In time I hope that sewing, crafting and creating will be the norm again, and not the exception. When my grandmother was a young mother, she and her neighbors would get together in someone's living room every week to sew, craft and gossip. Lifelong friendships were formed and many beautiful creations resulted. Some of which I still have today.
I think it is time for all of us to step away from the computer, put down the blackberry and just take a little time for ourselves to chat, create and develop a new sense of style. Oh, and if you look Sassy while we do it, then we have done our job.
